Electrical Motor Disposal & Recycling Guidelines
We PRANSHU ELECTRICALS PVT. LTD. operate with priority of prevention of pollution & conservation of natural resources through optimum utilization & waste minimization.
Below are the guidelines for disposal & recycling of our products after they have come to the end of their useful life.
Dismantling:
1. Manual disassembly:
Sort out parts of motors after disassembly according to material type:
1. Ferrous material (steel)
2. Nonferrous (aluminium, brass, copper etc)
3. Insulation material (polyester films, Nomex paper etc.)
4. Plastics
5. E waste (connector, electronic components etc.)
6. Cables
7. Others
2. Mechanical piece cutting
In this method, motor is dismantled, cut the sub assembly into pieces and materials are sorted using dedicated sorting processes. Remove the harmful material before cutting.
You can reuse or recycle metal parts (ferrous and nonferrous) and other materials according to local regulations.
Process material
1. Grease
2. Oil
3. Paint etc
The different materials must be disposed of or recycled whilst observing the local regulations. Disposal/recycling can also be done by a specialized company.
Packaging waste:
- Wooden packaging is heat treated and may also be impregnated. Local regulations must be observed during the disposal/recycling.
- Thermocol material & plastic bags to be disposed as per local regulations.
